That’s right. You heard it here, folks. As of Tuesday, it has been confirmed that there is indeed a film for Jojo in the works. It will be based on Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable, which is also the same part currently airing in anime form. Part 1 of this film series will be released next summer in Japan, and once again, this will be a film released in multiple parts, so part 1 will NOT have anything to do with Phantom Blood. Miike Takashi is slated to be the director, however one of his works, the Kenichi live action filmed, failed commercially, but here’s to hoping Jojo’s is done well.
