Gone were the days of the computer strategy games that forced one to use real-time tactics against others in a quest to display one’s dominance in a world of outer space conquest. That is until Blizzard decided to unleash Starcraft again unto the world; and are doing so in pretty dramatic fashion. It was announced earlier this week that the best RTS (Real-Time Strategy) game of its time is being put back on the market….. FOR FREE!The release will include the new version 1.18 update which fixed a bunch of issues and bugs that were prevalent in the original release of the game and its expansion and will be available on all Windows OS from 7 onward. The games will also be rendered in illustrious 4K which will be good times for online gamers. In relation to online play, Starcraft will utilize the Blizzard App (Battle.net) much like the players of popular titles such as Overwatch and Heartstone. This is going bring about some exciting new ventures for those that are looking for modern feel to a semi-retro game. The free release will be available this summer but a true release date has not been established.
