Recently Tyler Barriss and another player got into a fight in the game Call of Duty. Barris and the other unknown player exchanged words and also the anonymous player told him where he lived, that leads Barriss to call in shots fired false alarm that quickly sends the swat team to Andrew Finch house that had nothing to do with the Call of Duty feud and was shot by police on-site. Barriss is being charged with involuntary manslaughter and will receive the maximum sentence of 36 months and $300,000usd fine. Currently, Barriss is being held in Kanasa Jain with a bail of $500,000 and also another swatting incident that was taken place in Canada.
Term “Swatting” is when someone calls in a fake incident in progress that will lead the swat team to come to set location and hold everyone. Swatting is against the law and punishable by 36 months (3 years) and $300,000usd. also a federal crime if calling the swat team across the state or country.
